This is a sake brewery of more than 150 years. It is located in the Shin-Asahi area where the water is clean. It is a 15 minute walk from Shin-Asahi station.
There are many types of sake, but the taste of Kawashima Brewery's sake is straightforward and genuine. The brewery's policy is to consider the health of drinkers, contribute to relationships between brewers and communities, and save the local culture through sake brewing.
The president of the company, Mr Kawashima, is a very unique man who is happy to accommodate Japanese as well as foreign tourists and groups for a tour of the brewery. He is a very jovial and talkative man and is happy to answer any questions you may have about sake.
