Hi, I'm Asami, a member of ABLE Takashima. This is my first post!
We've had first snow this winter as you can see from the picture above.
The mountain is called Mt. Hakodate, one of the ski areas in the city.
There is a local soba (buckwheat noodles) shop at the foot of Mt Hakodate.
They use buckwheat which is locally harvested.
The restaurant opens only during the winter months.
It is so popular that many people come to enjoy the taste of the noodles.
If you come to Takashima in winter, skiing and eating local soba can be an option!
